Glossary

TermWhat it is
markmax(oracle, pool TWAP), clamped at a band over the oracle. Every debt, health factor and liquidation in StockLend uses it.
bandHow far over the oracle the mark may follow the pool. Frozen into each loan at the open, so a regime change cannot reach an existing one.
regimeOpen or closed, from the on-chain trading calendar — or from a feed older than six hours, which is the fail-closed backstop, not the primary test.
buyInAfter maturity, anyone spends the borrower's collateral in the pool to buy the shares back, capped at the settlement price plus a slippage allowance that grows hourly.
writeOffThe collateral buys back neither the debt nor a single share. The shortfall is shared across lenders by share, and the leftover USDG goes to them.
weekend premiumThe pool price over the frozen oracle during a closed session. What a borrower pays to sell into.
payoutStock sent to $HEDGE holders by balance each round: the holders' share of the tax. What the treasury's stock earns buys back $HEDGE.
treasury inventoryStock the treasury holds and works. Never sold, never shorted; lent on weekends, written against on weekdays.
covered callSelling, for a premium, the right to buy the treasury's stock at a strike before expiry, with the stock locked as collateral.
any stockThe treasury can hold any stock token that has a lending or options market here; NVDA is only the first.
HedgefunOne launch on Hedgefun Protocol v1: a token, a treasury that trades one real stock by a fixed strategy, and a pool. The contracts call it a strategy — strategies(id) — which is the word the ABI uses.
strategyThe five numbers a Hedgefun follows — tp1, tp2, dip, stop, lotBps — public before anyone buys and frozen at launch.
lotA parcel of stock a Hedgefun treasury holds, with the cost it was booked at. It sells above that cost — tp1, then tp2 — unless the creator set a stop.
bookCosting stock that has arrived into a lot, at the live oracle price. book() is open to anyone and pays nothing; every other treasury call does it first.
bountyWhat a treasury pays whoever sends one of its calls, out of what that call produced: bountyBps, 0.5% as shipped. It is why the rule runs with no keeper — see running a treasury.
USDGThe stablecoin every stock pool on Robinhood Chain is quoted against, and what collateral and fees are denominated in.
NAV shareA v2 fund share: an ERC-20 token worth its fraction of the fund's stock and USDG. Premium stays in the fund, so it shows up in the share price rather than as a reward.
cohortThe queue of deposit or redemption requests waiting for one cutoff. Priced and paid together at the freeze; cancellable until its own cutoff.
cutoff / freezeMonday 09:30 ET: requests close, redemptions are paid in kind, deposits become shares at the live oracle price, and the week's holdings are fixed.
in kindPaid in the fund's own assets, stock and USDG pro rata at the moment of the freeze, rather than in one of them.
wheelSelling covered calls on the stock and cash-secured puts on the USDG, rotating between the two as each is assigned.
cash-secured putSelling, for a premium, the obligation to buy the stock at a strike at expiry, with the USDG to pay for it locked as collateral.
uiMultiplierThe per-token factor that carries corporate actions. Chainlink's RHxxx / USD answer already includes it — see the three prices.
