Terms of Use
Last updated: 22 September 2026
These terms cover hedgehood.io, docs.hedgehood.io, hedgefun.trade and the other interfaces Hedgehood publishes (together, "the Interface"). By using the Interface you accept them. If you do not, do not use it.
1. What the Interface is
The Interface is a website that reads public data from Robinhood Chain and helps you build transactions that your own wallet signs and submits. It is a way of looking at, and talking to, smart contracts that are already deployed and public.
We do not hold your keys, your tokens or your collateral at any point. We cannot move, freeze, reverse or recover anything for you. A transaction you sign is final when the chain includes it.
The contracts the Interface talks to — StockLend, the options market, the $HEDGE distributor, Uniswap pools, Pons — run whether or not this website exists. Taking the website down does not close your position or return your collateral; the contracts are what you deal with, and their public functions remain reachable without us.
2. What the Interface is not
- It is not financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and nothing on it is a recommendation to buy, sell, lend, borrow or hold anything. We are not your broker, adviser, agent or fiduciary.
- It is not a bank, exchange, custodian or broker-dealer, and using it does not open an account with anyone.
- It is not a promise of return. Where the Interface shows what was paid, it is reporting the past. Where it shows a rate, it is a rate, not a forecast.
3. Eligibility, and who may not use it
You may use the Interface only if you can lawfully do so where you are, and only for yourself.
3.1 Restricted Persons
You may not access or use the Interface, and you may not attempt to, if you are:
- a United States person — a citizen or resident of the United States, a person located in the United States, an entity organised in or under the laws of the United States or of any State, or any person acting for the account or benefit of one of these;
- a resident of, located in, or organised under the laws of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea, Donetsk or Luhansk regions of Ukraine, or of any other territory subject to comprehensive sanctions;
- a person named on — or owned or controlled by a person named on — any sanctions list administered by the United States (including OFAC's Specially Designated Nationals list), the United Kingdom, the European Union or the United Nations;
- located in, or a resident of, any other jurisdiction in which use of the Interface or of the underlying protocols, or dealing in tokenized equities, would be unlawful or would require a registration, licence, authorisation or approval that has not been obtained.
Those places are the Restricted Jurisdictions and those people the Restricted Persons. We may add a jurisdiction to that list at any time, including because a regulator there takes a view of what is reachable here.
3.2 What you represent, each time you use it
That you are not a Restricted Person and are not located in a Restricted Jurisdiction; that you are of legal age where you are; that you act for yourself and not for the account or benefit of a Restricted Person; and that you will not use the Interface for money laundering, terrorist financing, market manipulation, or any other unlawful purpose.
3.3 No circumvention
You must not use a VPN, proxy, Tor, relay, borrowed or rented wallet, false address or any other means to disguise where you are or to obtain access you are not entitled to. Doing so breaches these terms, and it does not make your use of the Interface or of the protocols lawful.
3.4 We may block, and blocking is not a promise
We may restrict, refuse or withdraw access from any place, network address or wallet at any time and without notice — including by blocking on the country an IP address resolves to, and by screening addresses against public sanctions lists. Whether we do any of that is our choice and not a duty we owe you. Being served is not evidence of eligibility: no measure we take, and no measure we fail to take, makes a Restricted Person eligible or makes unlawful use lawful.
4. No offer, and nothing registered
Nothing on the Interface, in this documentation, or in anything Hedgehood publishes is an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation of any security, derivative, fund interest, managed account or other financial instrument — in any jurisdiction where that would be unlawful, or to any person to whom it may not lawfully be made.
Nothing here is registered. No token, pool, treasury or protocol reachable through the Interface has been registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933 or under the securities laws of any State, and none may be offered or sold in the United States or to a U.S. person absent registration or an available exemption. No regulator has reviewed, approved or endorsed the Interface, the protocols, this documentation or any token. Hedgehood is not registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, FINRA, the Financial Conduct Authority or any comparable authority, and is not a broker, dealer, exchange, alternative trading system, investment adviser, fund manager, commodity pool operator or custodian.
A Hedgefun is somebody else's. Launches on Hedgefun Protocol v1 are deployed permissionlessly, by whoever sends the transaction, into contracts nobody operates. We do not create, endorse, vet, curate, verify or supervise launches, their names, symbols, descriptions, links or strategies, and a launch being visible in an interface says nothing about it. Despite the name, a Hedgefun is not a fund: there are no shares in it, no net asset value, no redemption, no manager, and no claim on anything its treasury holds.
The legal characterisation of these instruments has not been determined and may differ from one jurisdiction to the next. Deciding whether your own dealings are lawful where you are is your responsibility, and you should take your own advice.
The tokenized equities themselves are securities issued in Jersey, and the venues that quote them do not offer those markets to traders in the United States.
5. Risk
Everything reachable through the Interface can lose you money. Before you use any of it, read the documents that describe what you are taking on — two-price stock lending, how $HEDGE works, and the three prices — and in particular:
- Smart contracts can contain errors. The contracts here have been reviewed and an audit is under way; no audit report has been published.
- Oracle feeds are 24/5 and freeze outside market hours; price and debt can move on stale information.
- A borrower can be liquidated or bought in; a lender can take a write-off when collateral is not enough.
- Token issuers can pause transfers, and a paused token stops every position that depends on it.
- $HEDGE is a memecoin and can go to zero.
- Tokens, positions and payouts can be worth less than what you put in, including nothing at all.
You are responsible for your own decisions, your wallet's security, and for checking any transaction before you sign it.
6. Third parties
The Interface depends on parties we do not control: Robinhood Chain and its RPC providers, the stock-token issuer, Chainlink price feeds, Uniswap pools, the Pons launchpad, Lighter, wallet software, WalletConnect, and Cloudflare. Their outages, changes, terms and decisions affect what you can do here, and we are not responsible for them.
Links out of the Interface are given for convenience and are not an endorsement.
7. Fees
The Interface itself charges nothing for looking. Protocols charge their own fees — a borrowing fee in StockLend, a trading tax on $HEDGE, the Pons launch fee, pool swap fees, network gas — and those are described in the documents and enforced by the contracts, not by this website.
8. No warranty
The Interface is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be available, uninterrupted, timely, complete or free of error, and figures shown may be delayed, incomplete or wrong — the chain is the source of truth.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Hedgehood is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, tokens, data or opportunity, arising out of your use of the Interface or of any protocol it points at — whether the claim is in contract, tort or otherwise, and whether or not we were told such loss was possible.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Your responsibility to us
You agree to hold Hedgehood harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Interface, your breach of these terms, or your breach of any law or third-party right.
11. Changes, and stopping
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Interface at any time, including these terms. Material changes are published on this page with a new date at the top; continuing to use the Interface after that is acceptance. We may also stop serving anyone we reasonably believe is using the Interface unlawfully.
